Welcome to the 8th Cohesion Forum,

A unique opportunity for stakeholders to reflect on the important role that cohesion policy plays in improving the well-being of all people living in Europe.

Indeed, cohesion policy is evolving to face the multiple challenge of delivering on its core objective set by the Treaty of making Europe more inclusive, competitive and resilient, while also fundamentally contributing to address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and engage in the green and digital transitions.

On 17 and 18 March 2022 the Forum will bring together some 2000 representatives of EU institutions, national, regional and local authorities from all Member States, social and economic partners, non-governmental organisations and representatives of the academic sector.

In light of the exceptional circumstances, the Forum will be held in hybrid format to allow for an unprecedented level of participation. The participants, both online and on-site, will have access to two keynote speeches, three high-level panel discussions, and three parallel breakout sessions covering core issues relevant to Europe’s post-pandemic recovery and the future of EU cohesion policy.

On this website, you can access the event programme, information on the speakers, and some practical information for onsite and online participation. Registration is upon invitation only and will give access to the online event platform with the livestreams in six languages, as well as networking and matchmaking opportunities.

Additionally, livestreams and recordings of all plenary sessions will be available in English on this website..
