Luísa Salgueiro was born on the 2nd of January 1968 in São Mamede de Infesta, Matosinhos, and she has a Law degree and a Post-Graduation Course on Environmental Law. Married, with one daughter, she is the Mayor of Matosinhos City Hall since October 2017 and President of Association of Portuguese Local Authorities since December 2021.
