Ms. Cristina Fanjul is Director of CEEI Asturias, incubator and accelerator of startups and technology-based companies www.ceei.es , and an outstanding agent of the innovation ecosystem of the Spanish region of Asturias. She is involved in the development of smart specialization strategies aligned with regional policy-makers and leads from @ceeiasturias innovation and entrepreneurship activities and programmes.

She has also strong links with the European ecosystem, being President of EBN- European Business Network www.ebn.eu. EBN serves a pan-European community of 170+ support organizations EU|BICs that use business and innovation as a force for regional economic development. EU|BICs have been supporting over 28,600 startups and a growing number of long-term sustainable SMEs as an essential contributor to our society’s transition towards a digital, green, and fair future society.

Ms. Fanjul is also expert and evaluator of flagship initiatives under the European policies and programmes as the European Innovation Council, EIC Accelerator, Women TechEU, Horizon Europe, Widening programmes and member of the Advisory Committee of Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions.
